A reversible grammar is also of practical relevance for the design of a
natural language system. We will consider the following issues
in NLS design in order to motivate the practical concerns
of reversibility:
- input/output consistency of the system's language behaviour
- non-redundant knowledge representation
- portability of the system as a whole
- more flexible systems
