Zusammenfassung
Physically Unclonable Functions (PUFs) have proven to be a strong and promising foundation for hardware-based authentication and key derivation. Especially SRAM-based PUFs
are an obvious choice for any device with SRAM, such as Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). This work ported an SRAM-based PUF implementation method to AMD Xilinx
UltraScale+ FPGAs. Start-up values of several devices were extracted and analyzed. The results show recurring patterns in the start-up values which questions their suitability for secure SRAMbased
PUFs. Further inspection of the patterns origins were done.
