SePiA.Pro

A Service Platform for the Intelligent Optimization of Production Chains

A Service Platform for the Intelligent Optimization of Production Chains

  • Duration:

The aim of the project SePiA.Pro is to develop an open and standardised service platform for optimization of production chains across machinery producers. The optimization parameters are based on intelligent analysis and evaluation of sensor data and job parameters.

As part of the project a variety of Smart Services will be developed. Through bundling the software a closed, portable, secure and standardised packaging format (Smart Service Archive) is achieved that enables the automatic deployment and management of Smart Services.

The German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) contributes to the project by providing its expertise in methods, technology and tools for scalable and intelligent analytics of data sets and will focus in the project on the development of a highly scalable, industrial data analytics platform.

The consortium consists of three industrial partners (TWT GmbH (consortium leader), TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH + Co. KG, Daimler AG) and two research partners (Institute of Architecture of Application Systems (IAAS) at the University of Stuttgart and the Intelligent Analytics for Massive Data research group at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence).

The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) within the funding program „Smart Service World“.
