DFKI4planet is the AI Competence Center for Environment and Sustainability at DFKI. DFKI4planet acts as a hub for knowledge transfer and networking. It is the central point of contact for all interested parties from science, business and politics.

Our Mission

DFKI4planet focuses on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. We promote the visibility of AI solutions that help to tackle global challenges such as climate change, ocean pollution and food shortages. We focus not only on sustainable applications, but also on the sustainability of AI itself.
