Project | PATHCARE

Duration:

Patient Adaptive Telemedicine and Healthcare through Connectivity and Real-time Engagement

The increasing digitalization of healthcare requires high-performance, secure, and flexible communication infrastructures that meet the growing demands for availability, latency, and interoperability. Particularly in time-critical medical scenarios such as pre-hospital emergency care or interdisciplinary treatment in trauma bays, the reliable transmission of vital parameters, sensor data, and multimedia information is crucial. The goal is to create a robust technological foundation for a secure, efficient, and patient-centered care pathway, thereby sustainably strengthening the resilience of the healthcare system. The PATHCARE project focuses on developments, primarily in the areas of 6G-based communication systems, Integrated Communication and Sensing (ICAS), AI-supported analysis methods, and secure and regulatory-compliant system architectures.
