Modern sensors and Artificial Intelligence - High-tech systems explore the oceans

What condition are the world's oceans in? To find out, numerous autonomous underwater buoys are drifting through the oceans and collecting data. In Oldenburg, researchers are working on the use of Artificial Intelligence and new types of sensors to be able to evaluate the data better and faster.

Another sensor in the sea: Oliver Zielinski (on the left) and Rohan Henkel bring a BGC-Argo-Float into the water.
