Dear rockers,
when running rock-display remotely:
rock-display --host=[remote]
the task inspector window opens and shows the following error:
CORBA system exception: OBJECT_NOT_EXIST_NoMatch
my remote machine is reachable an online (e.g. I can ping or ssh to it).
*SOMETIMES* resetting the corba name service on the remote machine (as
explained here:
http://www.dfki.de/pipermail/rock-dev/2013-June/003169.html) fixes it and
I can remote rock-display again. However, it is not always the case. I
believe there is some random behaviour where the corba name service of the
remote machine binds to different IP addresses when restarting it (making
it unreachable sometimes).
I believe I have seen a way to force CORBA to bind to a specific IP
address, but don't remember which file exactly needs to be modified for
that.
Any idea?
Regards,
Martin
