orocos.rb was missing a dependency on the ROS transport. What probably
happened is that orocos.rb got setup before the ROS transport was built,
and therefore the ROS support was disabled. I just pushed a fix for that
You can do
amake --force orocos.rb
and try again.
One way to check whether the ROS support was properly built in orocos.rb
is to run
ruby1.9.1 -rorocos -rorocos/ros -e Orocos::ROS.initialize
If it was not compiled in, you will get
orocos.rb/lib/orocos/ros/rpc.rb:22:in `initialize': undefined method
`initialized?' for Orocos::ROS:Module (NoMethodError)
from -e:1:in `<main>'
