Hey,
I really don't see the difference in unknown and unset. From a user point
of view, it should bail both times. Or do I miss an use case where you
need to distinguish ?
My second point would be base/float.hpp as this one more or less just
doubles the functionality of limits, I would vote for dropping it and using
std::numberic_limits.
