The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) has commissioned a study on the topic of "Security of AI systems: Symbolic and Hybrid AI Methods". The study records the current state of research of these methods, with a focus on security-relevant aspects. In particular it analyses to what extent and under which boundary conditions hybrid AI methods potentially exhibit better security properties than purely non-symbolic methods.
