Welcome

As a principal researcher at DFKI, I do the following things:

  • Conduct research on general issues in the area of interactive intelligent systems and human-computer interaction
  • Conduct more targeted research in these areas for industrial clients (this work is not represented on this website)
  • Give courses at conferences and universities to convey the general lessons learned from this research and practice

[CHI 2013 logo] We presented our demonstrator for parallel faceted browsing during the Interactivity sessions on four days of the CHI 2013 conference. It can still be used to explore upcoming events in Paris, and the respository of events will be regularly updated by our colleagues at EURECOM. Even if you’re not going to Paris, you can try it out to get to know a powerful generalization of the paradigm of faceted search/browsing
