English: 252 (1869 turns, 4923 segments), Japanese: 400 (7057 turns, 8747 segments), German: 520 (5530 turns, 13932 segments)

Evalutaions of schemes:
For the dialogue scheme used in VERBMOBIL-1 we achieved k =.83 for 10 presegmented dialogues labelled by two coders with equal expertise. The value for stability over time was k =.84 for the same coder labelling identical dialogues with a time of about one year being between the two experiments.
